Based in the heart of Manchesters vibrant Northern Quarter JAM has successfully built a varied client roster, which includes a number of well known brands in the Beauty, Food, Retail, Travel and Finance sectors, and they have exciting plans for further growth in the coming years.
The role:
As part of the agencys longer-term succession planning, a talented PR Account Director is sought to support the Managing Director. The role is integral to JAMs long term planning with the MD willing to guide and develop the individual with a view to them becoming a part of the Board.
Initially the AD will take responsibility for the existing small, but perfectly formed team. JAM is proud of its investment in training and development and the AD will be expected to continue this, developing the agencys talent internally. They will manage several of the agencys key accounts, fostering relationships with key stakeholders to maintain and build upon the agencys status with them. This is not a role for an order taker - the ability to consult with and actively shape effective strategies for clients is an essential part of what makes a `Jammer.
Additionally, utilising your networking skills you will support the MD with JAMs new business activities. Commercial awareness and the ability to secure an opportunity will be necessary skills to help deliver the agencys growth plan.
