TEACHING ASSISTANT - AUTISM SPECIALIST CARDIFF

Hays Education is looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant who has experience of supporting pupils with Autism for a school in Cardiff. This Teaching Assistant job is to cover at least half a term possibly continuing in September 2015, if the funding continues.

My client is a well-established, forward thinking 4-11 school, who recently achieved an outstanding Estyn, providing high educational standards while providing a learning environment where pupils can develop.

The successful applicant will be working with autistic pupils supporting teaching and learning on a one-to-one basis. We welcome applications from Teaching Assistants and Teachers with experience supporting pupils with autism.

The ideal candidate for this Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant job in Cardiff will have/be;
- Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with autism on a one-to-one and small group basis.
- The ability to work on your own initiative.
- Excellent behaviour management.
- The ability to quickly build rapport with pupils.
