Pathways E-ACT Academy, is a larger than average primary school based in the North of Sheffield, easily accessible from the M1/ A1 motorway network. We are a new Academy (opened September 2013 having previously been Longley Primary School), which after a period of change are entering an exciting time as we look forward to our new Principal joining us in September. We are fortunate enough to be sponsored by EACT: an organisation fully committed to partnering us and all our stakeholders and communities, on our journey to becoming world class.
Pathways E-ACT Academy serves an increasingly diverse community. With an age range of 3-11,
Pathways places children and their wellbeing at the heart of its work. We are on a journey of improvement- attendance is improving, the proportion of pupils making expected and greater than expected progress in reading, writing and maths is improving and we are looking for creative and inspirational teachers to join us.
We now wish to appoint an outstanding Year 3 Classroom teacher who believes in raising standards and supporting all children to reach their potential; who is committed to team work and collaborative working and who wants to make a difference to the lives of all children in our community.
We can offer you:
???? A commitment to your own professional development including an excellent induction package to support you at the start of your career with us
???? A supportive team of staff who work together to improve practice and outcomes for our children
???? Amazing children who enjoy learning and are increasingly eager to achieve
???? A positive culture where everyone is valued and respected
