Speech and Language Teaching Assistant job

Our client, a charming Primary school in the borough of Camden is looking for an experienced and dedicated Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join their team and lead small groups of pupils with Speech and Language Difficulties in intervention sessions. You will be an out-going, patient individual with extensive experience of working with SEN pupils, predominantly Speech and Language Difficulties in an educational environment.

The school has recently been refurbished and has excellent resources including a unit for SEN pupils. The position is within the mainstream side of the Primary School and will involve leading intervention groups for children across years with Speech and Language Difficulties within a secure and inclusive environment. As this team is a small a close knit team it is essential that you can build a relationship with others quickly and efficiently and are a keen team player.

To be considered for this role you must:

???? Have previous experience of working with SEN pupils in an educational role
???? Have experience of supporting Speech and Language Difficulties
???? Have a firm understanding of the UK national curriculum and child safeguarding and protection procedures
???? Be fluent in English
???? Have an excellent ability to build relationships quickly
???? Be dedicated and passionate about working in the education sector
