Hays Education is working on behalf of a well-established Nursery to recruit for a Deputy Nursery Manager job in Derby on a permanent basis. The setting is a small, local Nursery, with a maximum of 26 children per day.

This Deputy Nursery Manager job is an excellent opportunity to expand your experience working alongside a close team of Nursery practitioners. The Nursery works with children from 2 up to 4 years old. The setting is well known for providing a secure, happy and enjoyable environment in which children feel safe and secure and are able to explore and learn.

Extensive experience of working as a Room Leader or some level of management experience is essential, along with at least an NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare. This Deputy Nursery Manager job will require you to assist the Nursery Manager to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery. You will be required to ensure that all children are provided with stimulating learning and development, alongside promoting the aims and objectives of the nursery. In the absence of the Nursery Manager you will undertake the day-to-day activities of the nursery, including planning and preparation and liaising with the parents of the children in the nursery.

This Deputy Nursery Manager job is a full-time, permanent role and will require you to work 38.75 hours per week. To be considered for this position, please submit a CV
