Technical Business Manager - Optical Scanners - South of France
With over 30 years of experience manufacturing 3d metrology equipment, my client has developed a very powerful brand and a strong physical presence across Europe, Asia and the US. They're now looking for a Technical Business Manager based in the south of France (home based), who can generate new sales leads, deliver technology presentations, and work closely with internal departments (marketing, engineering, project teams) to advance and ultimately close sales.
A combination of commercial and engineering expertise is therefore required - possibly someone from a technical sales or marketing background. An applications engineer who's worked closely with sales teams and would like to progress in to more of a business focused role will also be considered.
The successful candidate will have:
- A technical degree (mechanical/ electronics engineering or similar)
- A good understanding of the metrology/ laser scanning market
- Experience in a customer facing position (applications, marketing, sales etc)
- An inquisitive nature, to help uncover customer requirements
- Business fluent French and English
- The willingness to travel
