The successful candidate will have the drive to really add to after school clubs and contribute to school wide activities. In this KS2 Teaching Assistant position you will be supporting classes as and when needed within the KS2 phase. Day-to-day, you will be contributing to a fantastic, positive learning environment through the excellent use of the resources on offer - including bright, airy classrooms, class specific gardening areas and state of the art ICT equipment, to name but a few. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant you will be pushed to reach your potential by learning important teaching techniques through the school's outstanding training and CPD plan. You will be involving yourself in all aspects of this learning community by participating in the school's many and varied extra-curricular activities, and will also have the opportunity to leave your own mark by introducing any activities that you feel passionate about. This role involves you leading intervention sessions to small groups of pupils who benefit from the extra support in Literacy and Numeracy.
