Network Software Engineer - C, Linux, Ethernet, TCP/IP


A world renowned semiconductor company are actively looking for a number of Network Software Engineer's to join their ever growing talented development team based just west of Dublin. Sucessful Network Engineers will play a critical role in the evolving areas of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).

Eligible candidates will have an honours degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum of a 2:1 classification, along with the following experience;

- C Programming in multi-core or multi-threaded software
- Linux
- Experience with communication protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, iSCSI)

Any experience in the following areas would be highly desired;

- x86 processor architectures
- Agile software development methodologies
- Virtualization technologies (KVM, XEN, QEMU, VMware, ESX/ESXi)
