Our client a leading travel company are looking for a Travel Consultant to join their team on a minimum 6 month contract with the possibility of a permanent role. Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for the delivery of air services (Quotes, Bookings and Amendments). This involves liaising with suppliers and agents externally, and Sales and Tour Consultants internally to ensure these essential elements are delivered to our clients within agreed service levels / expectations and within budget. In addition you will ensure all internal systems are updated accurately and that all relevant information is detailed to the Airlines in a timely manner. You will build and maintain relationships with internal customers and support the Air Transport Team Leader with any other adhoc requests
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 12 months travel experience ideally within the Group Travel market, you will be tenacious, commercially astute, numerically competent and have a high attention to detail. You will have strong organisational skills, have the ability to manage and prioritise workloads and possess a sound geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe
