Accounts Payable Manager/Agresso - 3 Month Contract - Preston

As the Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive payments service to all group companies, reporting, providing advice and guidance on purchase ledger and payment processes.

Knowledge of Agresso is key to be successful for this role. You will also be tasked to run the accounts payable team and assist with any Agresso queries.

Skills/Previous History

• Strong knowledge of Agresso is essential
• Previous history of working in a finance department
• Able to develop and improve financial controls and processes
• Able to effectively manage numerous members of staff

Key Tasks

• Ensure integrity of the interface, and ensure daily interface posting is correct and carried out on a timely basis
• Responsibility for the posting of various schedule billing to the finance systems, for several group companies
• Deal with payment queries and other purchase ledger related queries
• Understand the different payment methods and be instrumental in their improvement/enhancement as necessary
• Deal with quality control issues
• Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement
• Promote the work of the Accounts payable team through various mediums
• Other reconciliations of financial data
• Ensure compliance with Construction industry tax scheme
• Effectively manage changing workloads within section and suggest recommendations for improvement/changes
• Attendance at Accounts Payable Team Meetings
