Our client's organisation is a service available across England which enables the public to alert Local Authorities and homeless services about people sleeping rough in their area. They aim to help address this by providing the first step the public can take to ensure people sleeping rough are connected to the local services and support available to them.

As the post-holder you will provide a high quality, responsive service to everyone contacting the organisation via the telephone referral line and website. Excellent communication skills and an understanding of the issues faced by homeless people are essential to this role. A commitment to quality customer service is crucial to the success of the service as is the desire to learn about the causes of homelessness and the services available in the community.


Also essential is the ability to use a range of IT applications and quickly become proficient in new computer systems.

We are looking for someone with a genuine desire to make a difference to the lives of homeless people and although we welcome experience we also consider those with excellent transferable skills. We employ people from all sections of the community including people who have experienced homelessness. Flexibility is required as this is a 24 hour service so you must be willing to work to a 24 hour rota when required.
