Due to growth an exciting opportunity is available for experienced Warehouse Reach Truck Drivers to join an award winning company with bathroom and tiles showrooms throughout the UK. Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, the successful Warehouse Reach Truck Drivers will be working either 06:00 – 18:00 (Thursday to Sunday) or during the night shift (4 on 4 off) – earning £9 per hour.

As a Warehouse Reach Truck Driver you will be required to unload, check, assemble, locate and secure all delivered product on a daily basis. You will also ensure that stock is accurate at all times, while adhering to all site rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable work environment. Reporting to the Goods Team Leader, your main responsibilities as a Warehouse Reach Truck Driver will include, but are not limited to:
  • Carrying out all pre shift checks on the Reach Truck prior to use, reporting vehicle defects to the team leader
  • Racking and replenishing stock in the  ‘Goods In’ area using the reach truck, ensuring the product is undamaged and secure before lifting
  • Booking stock onto the Key WMS system using the PDA’s
  • Responsibility for quality control making sure no damaged goods are accepted
  • Putting stock away to the correct location using the PDA to locate the stock into the correct system location
  • Achieving agreed hourly targets
  • Working to site standards including maintaining a clean work area and disposing of waste
  • Ensuring you are wearing the correct PPE for the task being carried out
  • Reporting any issues to your team leader including accidents or damages
  • Assisting with on-the-job training of new employees as and when required
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety regulations
The successful Warehouse Reach Truck Driver you will ideally have experience within a warehouse environment and be physically fit, capable of tremendous amounts of physical activities. In addition, you will possess the following skills and experience:
  • A Counter Balance license, Reach Truck license or similar
  • Possess basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
  • Ability to work under high pressure situations
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate successfully and work effectively with other team members
  • A positive and enthusiastic drive towards work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
