Due to growth an exciting opportunity is available for Warehouse Operatives to join an award-winning company with bathroom and tiles showrooms throughout the UK. Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire the successful Warehouse Operatives will earn £7 per hour dependent on rotas and will have opportunities to work the following:
Day shift: 06:00 – 16:00 (Monday – Friday)
Weekend Shift: 06:00 – 16:00, 12:00 – 22:00 or 08:00 – 18:00 (Saturday and Sunday)
As a Warehouse Operative you will be required to unload, check, assemble, locate and secure all products on a daily basis. You will also adhere to all site rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable work environment. Reporting to the Goods in Team Leader, your main responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative will include, but are not limited to:
Day shift: 06:00 – 16:00 (Monday – Friday)

As a Warehouse Operative you will be required to unload, check, assemble, locate and secure all products on a daily basis. You will also adhere to all site rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable work environment. Reporting to the Goods in Team Leader, your main responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative will include, but are not limited to:
- Off-loading containers ensuring product is stacked in the correct formation on undamaged pallets for storage in the warehouse.
- Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is too be accepted at goods in.
- Stage stock for put away drivers ensuring product is labelled and wrapped correctly.
- Achieving agreed hourly KPI targets
- Cleaning and maintaining your work area to agreed standards.
- Moving waste from bins/cages to the dedicated dumpsters or skips.
- Always ensuring you are wearing the correct PPE for the task you are carrying out.
- Reporting any goods in issues to your team leader.
- Reporting any product damages to your team leader and complete the appropriate paperwork.
- Reporting all accidents and near misses to your team leader or manager.
- Carrying out stock counts as and when required.
- Assisting customers with the checking and loading of their orders at our trade counter/ showroom and must be polite and courteous at all times.
- Possess basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
- Ability to work under high pressure situations
