EMC Test Engineer

Based in South West working for a global multi-technology company, the EMC Test Engineer will work within the Test and Compliance team, reporting to the Principal Compliance Engineer. The Test Technician will be an essential member of a multidisciplinary engineering team, and will play a key role in the introduction of new products and contribute to the overall success of the EMC Test Engineer will support the timely delivery of reliable new products and ensure compliance is maintained throughout the life of the product. Development, Execution and validation of product testing activities. Participation in the new product introduction activities. Preparation of compliance documentation and research and advise in all matters associated with test and compliance activities.

To be successful in this role the EMC Test Engineer will have the following skills and experience.

* Understanding of techniques for testing equipment used in a variety of environments
* Analytical reasoning and problem solving
* Experience in developing test instructions and procedures
* HNC / Degree qualified or other
* Relevant experience in an equipment testing environment
* Experience in the testing of electronic / mechanical equipment
* Experience in developing test instructions and procedures
