Manufacturing execution System (MES) - Business Consulting STONE

Hi All,

We have an senior level opportunity with one of our IT clients, for the role "Manufacturing execution System -Business Consulting STONE". It's an immediate hire and planning to close it ASAP.

Provide automotive business consulting Support for successful implementation of MES solution in vehicle assembly plant getting build in south America.

Key responsibilities:

• Capture accurate business requirement from function heads (Quality, Material planning and logistic, Maintenance, vehicle assembly, industrial engineering) and translate them into process flows. Develop As-is and future state business process view

• Facilitate cross-functional teams such as Legacy application support team; MES implementation vendor team, Business SME'S while implement MES solution within an established time frame.

• Defines changes and Consultation in analysis phase with other executing/involved parties (IT/Business/External vendors).

• Work with SAP team to identify the interfaces with manufacturing execution system.

• Liaise with other plant floor IT support systems such as network, infrastructure and Servers - Ensure requirements related to MES are properly captured.

• Liaise with plant floor equipment supplier system teams to ensure that their IT solution satisfies business requirement.

Key Skills/Knowledge: Business Consulting

Experience required:

• 12 + years Automotive industry Working experience preferably in advance manufacturing - process engineering or plant maintenance or Manufacturing execution IT or plant floor operations.

• Strong automotive plant floor business process understanding -Quality, manufacturing execution, material planning and logistics, plant maintenance.

• Consulting Experience - minimum two MES project implementation in automotive/Discrete manufacturing industry

• Awareness of automotive plant floor equipment providers/related systems such as VIN label printing, Vehicle Electrical Testing, Fuel fill and oil fill systems, DC tooling. Examine communication (interface) between these systems with MES.

• Awareness of plant floor IT support systems such as network, infrastructure and Servers related to MES.

• Should have knowledge of plant floor end user systems such as Barcode scanners, printers, Andon boards,RFID readers and writers.

• High-level understanding of PLC and its integration with MES.

• Knowledge of process mapping tools like ARIS, Enterprise architect.

Special working conditions (travel, on call etc):

• Travel to Brazil may be required.

• May need to visit different client locations in United kingdom.
