Data Scientist - SaS, R, Radar, SQL - South East

Our client, a leading General Insurance firm based in the South East, urgently require an experienced Data Scientist to join their team to develop and execute the Underwriting and Data strategy for their Telematics business.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS;
Ability to analyse complex large data sets.
Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team, often a virtual team
Deliver under tight time scales.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Excellent presentation skills both written and oral.
Ability to work with external stakeholders.
Strong experience in SaS, R and Radar, Excel, experience of Cognos preferred.
Previous commercial/underwriting experience.
Good knowledge of Telematics
Experience of working with and interpreting management information.
