Senior Security Information Assurance Consultant - Gloucester - Up to 70k

A large and established public and private service based consultancy organisation, recognised as a technological benchmark within the IT sector is looking for a Senior Security Information Assurance Consultant. This position has become available due to internal promotion.

Core skills: IT Security Architecture, IT Security Solution Assessment and Development, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HMG SPF Standard, Pre-sales ( Bid/Tenders ), Client facing, Security Clearance, UK Travel

As the successful applicant, you will be required to support and deliver Information Assurance and IT Security services to both internal and external clients. You will be comfortable with high levels of client facing and bid/tender experience, whilst being able to effectively communicate and present to key stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise and externally. This position requires the successful candidate to have strong IT Security knowledge ranging from developing and reviewing security architectures through to risk assessment and accreditation. You will work with a technical team to develop secure a range of IT solutions to suit client needs.

This position will require occasional to frequent UK wide travel and occasional attendance of client site visits for mid - long periods of time. You must also be Security Cleared or willing to undergo Security Clearance.

The successful candidate will possess most of the following skills:
- Proven track record in Information Assurance and IT Security architectures
- Must possess strong ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS (payments framework) knowledge
- CESG/HMG standards and guideline knowledge
- Communicating and defining IT Security Strategies
- Experience in identifying, tracking and recording IT Security risks and developing effective solutions
- Tender and Bid management
- Client facing/presentation experience

Desirable skills:
- CLAS Membership
- CESG Certified Professional (CCP)
- Good understanding of external technical developments in IT security

Salary - Up to 70k
