IOS Developer - Leicestershire iphone & ipad apps

New opportunity to join an exciting and ambitious new mobile eCommerce team, to help bring their vision to life.

As part of a challenging and rewarding new mobile ambition team, you'll be joining a cross-functional Agile team, applying your expert knowledge to the development of their iPhone and iPad apps. You'll also use your expertise in profiling and performance testing to evaluate and improve the customer journey and experience.

Key skills:

• Are you excited by the challenge of helping to deliver a new and ambitious mobile E-commerce plan.
• Do you have exceptional previous experience of the full iOS app development life cycle.
• Do you have at least two years' experience of mobile development, Objective-C and Xcode.
• Can you work flexibly and skilfully in a number of relevant frameworks including Core Data, iCloud, Core Graphics, QuartzCore, Core Animation, Core Location and AFNetworking.
• Do you have a strong understanding of memory management for automatic and manual reference counting.
• Do you have a comprehensive understanding of Apple's Human Interface and Design Guidelines.
• Can you work with confidence and enthusiasm in an exciting new cross-functional Agile team.
• Can you use your expertise in profiling and performance testing to deliver the best customer experience.
• Can you help to provide vital out-of-hours support, based on a rota.

Experience:

With exceptional previous experience of the full iOS app development life cycle, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of Apple's Human Interface and Design Guidelines. You'll also have at least two years of impressive experience in both mobile development and Objective-C and Xcode.

A flexible and highly motivated individual, you'll be able to work confidently and effectively within a number of relevant frameworks, including Core Data, iCloud, Core Graphics, QuartzCore, Core Animation, Core Location and AFNetworking. Experience of Appledoc generation, Server Side technologies (eg ASP.NET), Cocoapods and a degree in Computer Science (or similar) would be beneficial.

With a versatile and organised approach to every task, you'll have a strong understanding of memory management for both automatic and manual reference counting, as well as experience in RESTful API integration.
