Application Support/Developer - SharePoint

The current vacancy is for a financial services organisation. Our client is looking for an Application Support/Developer - SharePoint to develop and support SharePoint 2010. The team analyses emerging business requirements to advise on appropriate technology solutions for business needs.

Duties and responsibilities:
-Contribute significantly to business process design work
-Administration of line of business systems (in SharePoint/InfoPath/CRM/SAGE etc.) including Intranet, search, purchase to pay, document and records management, E-learning
-Day to day administration and support of the applications
-Provide advice and guidance to users for business applications to ensure they can get the best out of the applications available to them and to ensure they are using them in accordance with agreed protocols, standards and best practise
-Work with the Information Security Manager to ensure access, document management retention and marking requirements are correctly implemented
-Assist with more general IT support issues
-Work with the IT team, external suppliers and internal users to support the delivery of enterprise class applications that address the business problems and opportunities

Skills required:
-Experience with a relevant and comparable organisation in terms of technology used and size
-Hands on experience implementing and maintaining SharePoint 2010 with advanced knowledge of workflows, InfoPath and SharePoint Designer
-Experience of SharePoint migrations for Internet content and document management
-Advanced knowledge of developing and maintaining content in SharePoint
-Excellent knowledge of SharePoint security models
-Expertise in HTML, style sheets, Themes and Master Pages in relation to SharePoint
-Hands on experience implementing and maintaining 3rd party applications into SharePoint
-Working knowledge of CRM Dynamics administration
-A confident manner and excellent communication skills
-Able to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders
-Able to distil complex requirements and issues quickly into a form which can be understood and acted upon by others
-A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
-MCITP, MCTS or MCPD Certifications in SharePoint disciplines
