SAS Developer

Our client, a leading financial firm, is looking to recruit a SAS Developer for a fixed term contract based in Leeds.

Job Details:

The Business Intelligence function is responsible for the governance, design and delivery of the data warehouse and BI platform within mortgages.

The BI platform supports the statutory, regulatory and management reporting within the business.

The ideal candidate will be a Base SAS developer with experience in associated SAS products.

Programming and analysis experience are critical.

The role offers a varied breadth of opportunities across a vibrant and busy MI team and each day will be different given the scope of the team.

A project background would be advantageous.

Job Purpose and Key Accountabilities:

To support BAU SAS platform Servers delivering bespoke and adhoc business critical MI and related MI systems.
Day to Day Analysis and Reporting from disparate data platforms
Process and data flow analysis and documentation
Running and maintenance of bespoke MI suite
Small scale project ownership
Provide SAS Expertise to wider BI team and other Business Areas.

Specific skills or knowledge details:

This is a role requiring significant SAS Programming and Data knowledge and experience.

This is a fixed term contract for 1 year.
