ETL Data Quality Analyst - Northampton

Our client based in Northampton but commutable from Bedford, Milton Keynes and Coventry, seek a Data Quality Analyst with ETL experience,

We are looking to recruit a Data Quality Analyst, to join our clients ever expanding Data Management Team. You will be working within a truly decentralised agile environment that's very busy for a market leading FTSE 100 company .

We're looking for someone who has the technical skills, that is a priority. You need to have experience of using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data tools, for analysis as well as reporting

Using a range of skills and tools, you will be working in a tightknit, culturally diverse team.

You will be:

Understanding the complex interplay between technology and business operations

Highlighting and improving the commercial impact of data quality

Proactively contributing to the formulation of data governance rules, processes and procedures

Building jobs using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools to produce data governance guidelines

Generating significant data quality benefits throughout the group

Quickly forming close professional relationships throughout the business

Engaging colleagues at all levels with your data quality initiatives

What we are looking for?

Experience in using an ETL tool for analysis, not just reporting

Experience in using an ETL tool for data profiling

Experience in building jobs using ETL tools

Experience of producing effective business case strategies with a strategic and tactical approach

Demonstrable analytical and numeracy skills

Excellent commercial awareness, with strong communication and influencing skills

Have a pragmatic, robust and result driven approach

A solid understanding and technical expertise with software tools such as Talend Data Quality

(Highly desired but not essential)
