Hudson is currently looking for a Business Analyst to work with a leading financial services, client in Manchester handling the general insurance. The business is currently on a fast moving growth cycle and we are looking for ambitious BA's who want to rapidly progress their career within a well known brand.

Job Purpose:

Lead the business analysis for the Member Programme, work closely with the Programme Manager, Business Sponsor and Sales, Marketing and Data Insight specialists, to support a full range of activities aimed at delivering the Member transformation outcomes and success measures. Effective communications and cross-functional working is a critical success factor underpinning transformation delivery.

Key Accountabilities for the role include but are not limited to:

* Lead all aspects of business analysis relating to application of CRM to the organisations business change, working closely with the Business and IT CRM Solution Owners and ensuring knowledge and skills transfer to other members of the BA team
* Identify and maximise opportunities to use information and technology to improve business processes
* Help users understand and take advantage of the benefits of business systems
* Engage in prioritisation and problem-solving with business and technical resources to deliver robust solutions as quickly as possible
* Consult with personnel to determine business, functional and technical requirements for specified applications
* Represent business interests and ensure that technical designs meet or exceed business needs
* Articulate business needs and complex business problems to technical audiences
* Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
* Provide input to IT Technical Analysts and Developers to help them test and define the feasibility of appropriate defined business solutions
* Provide input to UAT Teams to help ensure the adequacy of test plans and schedules

General Requirements:
Communications and Stakeholder Management
* Develop and maintain good relationships with business users, senior operational management, members and third parties as required
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyse information needs
* Challenge business units, for example on current ways of working
* Act as a positive liaison between the Change Management team, other Programme teams and business stakeholders.

Business Improvement
* Work with subject matter experts to elicit and assess requirements through a mix of: interviews, research, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, data, task or workflow analysis
* Lead or assist with creating project documentation in line with the clients methods and standards, including: Business Requirements, Business Case and Justification, Business Impact Assessment,
Benefits Identification, Tracking and Realisation, User Testing Strategies and Plans.
