An Academy school located in the county of Northampton are seeking to recruit an RE Teacher to join their talented team of staff. This position commences in September 2015 and whilst initially is a temporary position it does have the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

This is an architecturally impressive school with a long and distinguished history. It has a diverse population and is full of character and life. There are 1360 pupils of mixed gender between the ages of 11-18 of which 207 are enrolled in the sixth form.

The curriculum is supplemented by a range of art, dance, music and sports activities,as well as by visitors and visits, which promote students' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

Students behave well around the school, showing courtesy and good manners to visitors, staff and to one another. In lessons students have positive attitudes to learning. Sixth Form students speak highly of the information, support and guidance they receive. Students have good opportunities to contribute to the school for example as sports leaders, mentors to lower school students at extra the wide variety of extra curriculum activities on offer.

There are many nearby historical points of interest and good local transport links.London Luton Airport is only a 30 minute drive away.

To be eligible for this post you are required to be a qualified teacher or a teacher qualifying before September 2015.
