Condition Based Maintenance Engineers
King's Lynn / Wisbech / Downham Market / Norfolk region
to £36k + vehicle (or car allowance) + laptop + phone + health insurance
Our client specialise in the provision of condition monitoring and reliability services within a diverse range of manufacturing environments, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly self-motivated and experienced Condition Based Maintenance Engineer required to work at a range of client sites throughout the King's Lynn and West Norfolk region as well as occasionally further afield and overseas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with client sites, managing your site work by organising your work equipment, and ensuring site work is completed including data collection and analysis and/ or surveys completed.
To be considered for this varied and challenging role, you will essentially demonstrate skills and experience in a maintenance role and/or condition monitoring role, and will be skilled in data collection and vibration analysis, with experience gained with thermal imaging, ultrasonics and laser alignment proving distinctly advantageous.
It is envisaged that you will be HNC/HND qualified or above in a Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline, with excellent IT and communication skills (both written and verbal) for a customer facing role.
You will be provided with a company car (or allowance if preferred), fuel card, laptop, business mobile phone, Healthcare scheme and it is obviously ESSENTIAL that you possess a current valid driving licence. Standard working hours apply for the role (Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm) although you will need to be flexible to work hours to suit client needs, and there could be very occasional shift, weekend or overseas work if required.
Once established in the role, "home working" can be considered, however initially you would be expected to be at the office for in-house training on policies procedures and specific equipment.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a world class supplier of engineering services specialising in Condition Monitoring and Oil Analysis, and if you feel you possess the relevant skills and experience to be considered, in the first instance contact the Maintenance Team at PTR on 01827 68400 or email your cv in the strictest confidence to maintenance@p-t-r.co.uk for further details.
