Purpose of your role
This is a technical role at consultant level to provide expert advice (3rd line level support) to Project & BAU teams to assist in resolving critical issues. The successful candidate will also deliver strategic improvements and work with TIS & EA teams in achieving the core engineering group objectives. This position will suit an individual who enjoys working in an energised environment with a culture of teamwork and open communication. The ideal candidate will be expert in Security/Web Access Management technologies and related products.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide consultancy to project delivery and other Technology Services teams when required
- Hands-on engineering development to provide solutions and services in support of the roadmap
- Work with the Delivery areas to assist in the design for new Business solutions.
- To be the technical catalyst for outstanding service delivery within the team.
- Work with BAU teams in Technology Services to develop tools in order to improve management, monitoring and reporting.
- To assist with training/coaching team members and exposing them to new technologies.
Experience and Qualifications
- Solid enterprise experience of Networks, Databases, Security, Application & Infrastructure design
- Experience with end-to-end web access management solutions ( Siteminder, Layer 7, AuthMinder, RiskMinder)
- Exposure to industry standard Security Tools and User repositories (eg Siteminder/TIM TAM, LDAP, SSO)
- Proven track record of supporting Login solutions and linked technologies
- Expert knowledge of CA Security suite products (CA Single Sign-on, CA API Gateway, CA Advance & Risk Authentication, CA Directory)
- Experience with Monitoring Tools and Solutions to support Security Infrastructure (eg CA APM, AppDynamics, ITCAM, New Relic)
- Good UNIX knowledge, including Scripting.
- Excellent problem resolution & communication skills
- Sound knowledge of industry best practice regarding Service Management (eg ITIL)
- Experience in a major financial institution or similar environment
