Wind Turbine Electrical Systems Reliability Engineer

Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for a reliability focussed Electrical Systems Engineer with experience of Wind Turbines for our client based in Edinburgh.

You will be working within the Service and Reliability function of a wind turbine manufacturer to monitor, manage and improve the reliability throughout the life of the deployed wind turbine assets as well as optimising performance.

This will involve managing non conformities, design changes and refits and analysing major component issues over the whole installed base of turbines with a view to providing cost effective solutions.

This role will be based in Edinburgh with some travel around northern Europe.

You will need to have Electrical Systems Engineering experience ideally with a Masters level degree although significant industrial experience could support a bachelors level degree.

You will ideally have direct experience of wind turbine systems and Quality Assurance knowledge pertaining to power systems will strongly aid your application as well.

You will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders so excellent client facing skills will be needed.
