Senior .NET Developer
This is a superb opportunity to work in a highly technical, senior role within one of the UK's most recognised online brands. You will be responsible for designing and developing web based solutions for one of the country's leading E-commerce platforms. You will speak directly to business users, and will have architectural input into the design of web based solutions which respond directly to business needs. Senior .NET Developer: About the Role
You will have the opportunity to work on a number of diverse and exciting projects on an enterprise level E-commerce platform. Working in two weekly sprints, you will gain exposure to a number of varied projects, including product management systems, third party software integrations, improvements to Legacy systems, and brand new, innovation projects. In addition to this, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring colleagues within the development team.
Senior .NET Developer: Key Skills and Background
- Strong experience of developing applications in C#, ASP.NET and T-SQL within a commercial environment
- Experience of Visual Studio 2012 and SQL Server 2012
- Experience of AngularJS and Knockout would be an advantage
- Experience of Sitecore/Service Bus/RabbitMQ desirable
- An understanding of continuous delivery
- Experience of working in an Agile environment - Scrum, sprints etc
- Fantastic communication skills - the ability to talk directly the business and understand technical requirements
- The ability to provide architectural input
- An understand of cloud based services would be beneficial, eg AWS/Azure
- Experience of mentoring and coaching colleagues within a development team.
