Senior Developer - South West - GBP30-GBP35k

CPS Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational financial services organisation for a Senior Developer to support, enhance and develop technical solutions that underpin and drive the business.

The Organisation:

A multinational financial services organisation operating in all areas of the insurance industry. They have a presence in 50 countries and over 40k employees worldwide and have been voted one of the top companies in Business Week's top 40 companies!

Scope of Role:

The role requires extensive development experience, and also the ability to work across all areas of the systems development life cycle, you would be there to lead the design, development and support of major business applications and E-commerce website.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years commercial experience developing modern software solutions.
  • Independent minded personality that gets it' and gets on with it'
  • Willing to work with new technology and also support Legacy systems
  • Capable of working in a fast moving environment, showing initiative and decisiveness
  • Proven application design and development skills - significant end to end experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Good practical experience of ASP.NET (4.5)
  • VB.NET
  • HTML, JavaScript/Jquery, CSS
  • Knowledge of the development life cycle
