Corporate Security Officer

This provider of commercial security solutions are recruiting high calibre SIA licensed, corporate security officers, to enhance their team across Cambridgeshire.

The role of the Security Officer is to provide a high standard, professional service in a front of house environment including patrols of the premises and responding to incidents, ensuring duties are completed in line with specific assignment instructions.

You have the responsibility for ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, visitors and the protection of company property.

You must be flexible and methodical in your approach to work and ideally, will already have experience of working as a corporate security officer or mobile response driver.

Clear and concise communications is essential, as is an understanding of the security industry as a whole.

Working hours: These may vary on but a typical working week will be 4 days/nights (12 hours shifts), including weekends.

Package: £8.50 - £9.50 per hour. 5.6 weeks annual leave. Uniform supplied. A company vehicle may be supplied dependent on role and responsibility.

Core Duties (may include):

- To carry out regular patrols
- To monitor the Access Control and CCTV systems for the offices
- Compile accurate incident reports where appropriate and requested
- Respond to First Aid incidents
- Control of the key press and issuing of keys
- Take an active role in the event of an emergency evacuation as per the evacuation procedures
- Allocating visitor car parking spaces

The ideal candidate will have the following key skills & attributes:

- Valid SIA Licence
- Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in a corporate security or mobile response role

Desirable attributes:

- Knowledge of modern access control and CCTV systems
- First Aid at Work trained
- Hold a full driving licence
