Linen Porter

We are currently recruiting for a Linen Porter to join our busy and highly successful team.

Your main responsibility as a Linen Porter is to take direction from the Floor Housekeepers and the Head Housekeeper; to deliver cleanliness to the correct standards whilst remembering the finest details throughout the hotel. Firmdale Hotels is best known for the stylish d??cor, vibrant colours, and exquisite rooms which are individually designed with unique furniture and colour schemes, all within a 5* luxury setting.

Main Duties:

• Receive incoming deliveries and store correctly
• Distribute and maintain stock levels in all the linen cupboards
• Sort through and separate the dirty linen for collection by the laundry
• Assist the Room Attendants maintain guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas to our 5* standards
• Communicate with the management team when duties have been completed
• Report any maintenance issues
• React to any guest requests

Skills:

• Previous experience as a Linen Porter in a hotel environment
• Superb attention to detail
• Flexibility with hours
• Excellent communication skills
• A good approach to teamwork
• The ability to work well under pressure and in a busy environment

Hours required:

As a Linen Porter you will be working 40 hours per week on a flexible rota, where some weekends will be required.
