We are now looking for a Purchase Ledger Manager to join our Finance team based at our Support Office in Westminster, London.

Key responsibilities of our Purchase Ledger Manager will include:

- Assist AP Clerks with day to day duties

- Weekly team meetings to discuss deadlines

- Close links with the bank reconciliation, feeding any payments made in the business to bank reconciliation process

- Ad hoc A/P bank payments and intercompany transfers

- Managing the weekly pay run after receiving all appropriate authorisations

- Ensuring the payment of monthly payroll is processed through bank

- Supporting transfer to new bank accounts – Natwest to HSBC with all associated direct debits etc

- Keeping supplier accounts up to date

- Clearing of debt balances

- Set up BACS run to deliver an efficient payment mechanism

- Month end reports

- Month end nominal corrections

- Staff training and appraisals

To be considered for this Purchase Ledger Manager role, you would need the following skills and experience:

- Experience of running a purchase ledger function

- Self-starter

- Experience of delivering improvements of purchase ledger function
