Description: About the role • To provide analytical insights to the Global Sales, Route to Market team on various projects through business analysis. The principle role of the Global Sales Analyst will be to own the analysis and reporting of internal and external data, providing support in the preparation of recommendations of new Route to Store approaches. Expected outcomes include accurate and timely data analysis with actionable insights. The main contact points for the role will be members of Global, Area & Local sales teams. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Route to Market analytical framework, by Country, using both internal and external data, that details country/region macroeconomics and RB performance Conduct research and market analysis from key information sources such as AC Nielsen, MVI, Datamonitor, and in market audits Gather and analyse sales performance data from a variety of sources e.g. internal systems, financial reports, external market data and the customer & Area sales teams Analyse the sales potential by customer, country, region, city and district tiers based on macroeconomic indicators, internal and external benchmarks Development of clear and concise analytical assessments of the 'as is' in-market situation and help make recommendations for the 'to be' optimal sales organisation structure and GtM approach Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and Excel analysis for key stakeholder meetings, to communicate key insights and recommendations Support the Global Sales, Route to Store team with bespoke analysis, reporting and insight as required Develop strong working knowledge of data reporting systems for future development opportunities Qualifications: Personal Attributes • Degree 2:1 or above in a relevant subject • Commercial experience, preferably within FMCG industry • Highly numerate and analytical with ability to drive insight from data, problem solve and focus on root causes • Excellent attention to detail with strong time management skills • Strong level of computer & sales system literacy (High level Excel, PowerPoint, EPOS, Nielsen etc) • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (in English) • Interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships in a multi-cultural organisation • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating In return RB will offer a very competitve salary and benefits package as well as continued development and career progression on a Global scale.
