Role and Responsibilities
- Work closely with product management and other key stakeholders in developing requirements and design specifications.
- Mentor, monitor and guide the team members. Analyze and evaluate the performance of the team members and make recommendations on promotions and training needs.
- Conduct interviews; make hiring decisions for future developers.
- Review the design, implementation and documentation of software products for correctness, testability and adherence to guidelines.
- Evaluate, recommend and drive adoption and integration of appropriate technologies and best practices to enable rapid prototyping and development of products.
- Understanding in design and development of large, high volume, applications.
- A great understanding of product development
- Knowledge of Server Side architectures and application development frameworks such as ASP.NET, .NET, JAVA/J2EE, REST, High Speed Messaging.
- Good knowledge of database concepts and databases such as MSSQL and Oracle.
- Knowledge of web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX
- Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with local and remote team members
- Must be familiar working with remote teams.
