My client, a leading IT outsourcing company, are looking for an IT Support Consultant to join them based form their head office in the Bournemouth area.

You will be involved in doing 1st to 3rd line support for my clients growing base of customers all within a Microsoft environment. This will include giving telephone, remote, email and the occasional face to face support.

The correct individual will have at least four years experience working within an IT support environment, preferably within IT outsourcing. You will have excellent knowledge of Windows desktop systems (XP, Vista and 7) along with Server experience (2008 & 2012) and experience of virtualisation and thin clients (VMware and Citrix). Further knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP and Firewalls would also be beneficial. If you have industry related certification such as a MCITP, MCSE, VCP or CCA then this would also be looked upon favourably. As you will be working in a team environment and dealing with my clients' customers then your communication skills must be excellent.
