PHP Developer - Wimborne, Dorset - GBP22k

South coast digital agency are on the lookout for a Junior/Middleweight PHP Developer to be part of their development team and play a big part in the development of cutting edge websites for their clients, new and old. As you are working with a small agency your ideas and experience can really make a difference.

In terms of experience, you may be a junior developer with enthusiasm and inclination to learn, or you may have a few years' experience under your belt already and be looking for a slightly more advanced role - we're looking for the right attitude as well as the right skills!

You will have experience of modern coding conventions including OOP and MVC and ideally built bespoke applications from start to finish. You will also have experience of HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, JavaScript and Ajax from reading up on the latest techniques and using them to build websites in your spare time.

You will be writing well structured, reusable, modular, annotated code as well as knowing when to look for pre-written scripts and libraries to speed things along. You'll be used to working to very high standards and considering security, performance and cross-platform reliability in everything you do. You'll have a keen interest in new technology, and be quick to investigate and understand what each can bring to the table to improve the team's workflow or to benefit our clients.

Competitive salary of GBP22,000 on offer depending on experience plus lots of training and development opportunities.
