Lync Enterprise Voice Build Engineer

Microsoft Lync Build Engineer - UC - PERM - Bracknell

My client are an established Microsoft Hosted Solution Provider, they have an urgent requirement for a Microsoft Lync Enterprise Voice Build Engineer/UC Consultant to join them on a permanent basis.

The candidate will be responsible for managing project based activities, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects in a best solution, cost effective and timely manner. Other duties are too include; System monitoring and management, providing high level technical support of the UC product portfolio.

YOU WILL ALSO;

Handle and be responsible for the build of Microsoft Lync Enterprise Voice solutions
Proactively conduct system health checks and service testing
Ongoing capacity planning, management and upgrades of unified communications platforms
Provisioning/on-boarding activities and service migrations on Multi-tenant Exchange and Lync platforms.
Delivery of customer builds including but not limited to Lync Server, Active Directory(including directory synchronisation tools), Exchange, and Unified Messaging
Work with Project Managers and technical teams to define and design unified communication solutions
Compile service documentation and provide support to IT Operations team.
Provide technical documentation and process documents in relation to troubleshooting and service testing.
Provide3rd Line support.

REQUIREMENTS
Lync or Office Communicator Server Microsoft accreditation (preferred)
Unified Communications Microsoft accreditation
Windows server 2008 R2/2012
Active Directory, Exchange 2010/2013
Working knowledge of VOIP in particular SIP and codecs
Good understanding of IP Networking and subnetting
Understanding of Microsoft unified communications technologies
Desirable skills
Virtualisation - Hyper-V environments
Networking switching and routing
Network management systems
Microsoft MCITP/MCTS/MCSE
