Lead Python Developer - Online Holidays

Austin Fraser are urgently recruiting for a Senior Python Developer who has an interest with DevOps to join an industry leader within the Online holiday services industry.

The Senior Python Developer will Join the small team of experts, working at a fast growing company that is just coming out of the start-up phase. While they retain their original do-more-with-less, lean and fast-moving work environment, they are also now profit generating and so free of the day-to-day worries that can entail. They are now poised to take in additional funding to drive massive growth over the next 2 to 3 years - making it a great time to join the company.

The Python Developer (Django) will be working on a hybrid Back End that has taken a unique approach to building a holiday search-and-book platform. This Python development role will focus on the Front End that orchestrates queries between Solr, MySQL and various XML APIs, and provides the JSON-based data service that drives our Front End. You will also have the opportunity to work on the DevOps based platform as well, based on continuous integration and automated deployment principles.

Key Skills:

Desirable:

• AWS
• Jenkins, Docker, Mercurial/GIT, Splunk
