Role: Support Assistants, Supported Housing
Location: Bristol
Salary: £14,722 - £16,111 (pro rata for part-time)
1 Full-time, 37 hour post and 1 Part-time, 34 hour post
Our client provides support to people with mental health problems across Bristol, North Somerset, B&NES and South Gloucestershire. Their aim is to deliver recovery and wellbeing opportunities for people with mental health and other support needs to achieve their hopes and ambitions.
Their Supported Housing service provides low and medium tenancy related support to individuals with range of complex needs including homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse, re-offending and mental health issues who require support to live independently. The successful applicants will deliver support to a range of service users as part of a team, so a commitment to team working is essential. The post holders will have an awareness of the issues relating to mental health and homelessness, a commitment to assisting people in gaining greater independence and some experience of supporting vulnerable people.
In return our client offers training, mentoring, and regular supervision. A full driving license and access to transport is essential as the posts involve travel around the Bristol area.
