In this role you will reduce absence levels through pro-active health and wellbeing measures. Manage and deliver the provision of an efficient, high quality Occupational Health service for the Grimsby Institute Group staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver an Occupational Health service that supports earlier returns to work
- Develop and implement the Groups Health and Well Being strategy in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Formulate, implement and evaluate policies and initiatives for health protection and surveillance of workers, to meet legislative requirements and promote employee's health and well being in line with national health strategies.
- To champion best practice in occupational health provision to all within the Institute Group.
Essential qualifications & experience
- Registered General Nurse
- Experience of working within an occupational health environment
- Experience of managing complex cases
- Experience in clinical work
- Proven experience of maintaining auditable documentation
- Experience of challenging managers decisions to ensure appropriately managed interventions are in place and actioned
