We are looking for a Market Risk Analyst with experience covering a variety of asset classes, including interest rates. Are you looking for your next career step?

You would be joining a small and expanding team in an industry leading Market Infrastructure organisation in London. The role is permanent and offering in the region of GBP45,000- GBP60,000 depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in Market Risk. The nature of the role is varied, therefore we are looking for someone with the capability to undergo a variety of risk activities.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for ensuring market risk exposures are measured and managed in line with the organisation's framework. This will then enable you to gain vital insight into member risks across numerous markets. You will be heavily involved in areas such as; stress testing, pricing and margin modelling.

In addition to a hands on Market Risk approach, your holistic view of the organisation will give you the chance to help set important policy requirements and standards. As a result you will be liaising with legal and compliance departments to ensure the organisation is up-date with the regulatory environment in terms of Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring appropriate measurement of Market Risk Exposures in line with company standards.
• Assessing member risk across a variety of risk and product types
• New Product Approval, review the market risk of new product releases
• Key stakeholder liaison, to communicate policies and standards.

Requirements

• Degree Educated or equivalent in a quantitative subject.
• A strong background in Market Risk, including; pricing, stress testing, back testing, margin modelling etc.
• Product knowledge across a variety of asset classes, including interest rates.
• Advanced programming competency, in particular VBA, SQL Matlab and C++
