Salary Range: Starting £7,939.81 Progression to £8,710.86 (Subject to job evaluation)
Type of Employment: Permanent –18.5 hours per week

They are proud to deliver learning and skills in over 60 sites within Her Majesty's Prisons, private sector prisons, Approved Premises and the community. Working closely with stakeholders, they aim to provide locally determined, high quality provision which meets the needs and interests of learners.
Learners in custody and the community can access high quality employability and vocational training, underpinned by Functional English and Maths. Learners develop skills which will help them to find and sustain employment on release. This raises the aspirations of offenders, which effectively supports their progression to employment and responds to the needs of employers. This, in turn, makes a positive contribution to reducing the risk of re-offending.
With this in mind, they are seeking to appoint a part time Administrator (working 18.5 hours per week) to work within HMP Deerbolt.
The purpose of this role (but not limited to) is as follows:
- To provide an effective administrations service that supports contract monitoring, contract compliance and general office management. To process relevant data relating to finance, personnel or learners. To collect and input data accurately and within given deadlines
As a successful candidate you will have:
- Experience of efficient administration within a busy office environment Experience of maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based data recording systems Good literacy and numeracy skills Level 1 in literacy, numeracy and ICT or be willing to gain qualifications at within agreed timescales
