About the role
As Internal Sales Support your duties will include:
• Managing a small portfolio of customer accounts being pro-active in ensuring their expectations are exceeded at all times.
• Preparing quotes, processing orders and dealing with queries using Microsoft Office and in-house systems (SAGE, Excel and Access).
• Building a library of information using existing Integrated Management Systems, company accreditations and new research in order to complete compliance audit questionnaires.
• Tracking and analysing account activity on a regular basis, using the information to create graphs and reports in Excel.
• Using account activity analysis and your relationship with the customer to identify areas of improvement or innovation, forecast and build productive business relationships.
• Maintaining the CRM database keeping it up to date with all key information.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues to ensure a smooth-running supply chain.
• Gathering market intelligence to keep the team up to date with developments on key accounts they are managing or targeting.

About You
It is envisaged that you will have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade A-C (incl. Maths & English; A-Levels or equivalent vocational qualification/experience) and you will have several years in a Sales Office Support / Administrator role. Additionally, you will have a proven ability to extract and analyse data using SAGE & Excel and to use this information to inform your commercial decisions

You will be an excellent communicator with talent for interacting with customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels; be customer focused. You will have strong administrative skills, along with excellent attention to detail abilities and customer account management skills. Acting with integrity will be natural to you
