Maths Teacher

A smaller than average sized secondary school in the county of Essex is seeking a Maths Teacher. This is for a September 2015 start and whilst temporary it has the possibility of becoming permanent.

In its most recent inspection Ofsted awarded this school a Grade 2 'Good' with the report stating that the headteacher, senior leaders and governors have made considerable improvements as a result of ambition and determination. Teaching is good throughout the school and in some lessons it is outstanding which has resulted in students making good progress. Students attitudes to learning are good and they are courteous and respectful to each other, adults and visitors.

The school has approximately 350 pupils of mixed gender aged 11-16 on its teaching roll. There are various extra-curricular activities on offer which are run during lunch time and after school. These include music, science, photography and many sports clubs.

There are excellent transport links to the schools location with several train stations within 1 mile and London Stansted Airport is within 15 minutes by public transport.
