Service Team Manager Extra Care

Service Team Manager - Walsall - GBP28000 per annum

Our client is a quality national home care provider and is now looking to recruit an experienced Service Team Manager to oversee the development and management of an extra care complex in Walsall comprising of 60 units.

You will be responsible for the delivery, development and performance of an integrated service portfolio so will need an excellent background in Domiciliary Care or Sheltered Housing Management.

You will need to be qualified to RMA, NVQ 4/5 level or equivalent and have good knowledge of the area. You will need to be a car owner/driver with a full clean licence.

This exciting and challenging senior position has plenty of variety and you will need to have excellent communication skills, be organised, very approachable, motivating and have a positive approach. You will also need to have excellent staff recruitment experience and skills and be a good retainer of staff, you will also need to have experience with managing budgets, forecasting, business development, customer service and have the ability to build excellent relationships with commissioners of services, customers, regulators and other providers of care. You will need a solid background within the housing sector and understand the maintenance and repairs side of this varied and very rewarding business.

You will need an excellent understanding of the CQC regs and care standards and have an enthusiastic approach to management, excellent IT skills will be required as your role will involve spread sheets and financial analysis. Our client is looking for a strong, but very approachable caring manager who can lead, support and value staff while ensuring that high quality care is delivered to service users.
