A established primary school in Rugby requires an imaginative Newly Qualified Key Stage Two/KS2 Teacher to join their exciting and welcoming team.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be an inspirational and professional KS2 Teacher who has a demonstrable track record of 'Good' or better teaching and has the skills to Create a positive behavioural management scheme. Or a high calibre Newly Qualified Key Stage Two teacher that has been graded as 'Good' or 'Outstanding' on lesson observations during placements. The school wants to meet teachers who have the understanding of the intricacies of the curriculum and the communication pedigree to create well-informed, relevant and effective lessons. The school wants to recruit a KS2 Teacher who has the success of their pupils at the heart of their work, with a particular focus on outstanding achievement in exams. We want to see teachers with the drive to encourage their class aim high and teach with a passion for education

About the Role
This teaching role involves you joining a specific KS2 (probably a year 4 or 5 class) and you will be providing a wide-ranging educational experience. You will be well placed to progress your abilities as a teacher whilst increasing engagement in your class. The school have a refreshing attitude towards Teaching Assistants and see them as essential to a modern, high achieving school; you will be able to utilise one in your class teaching. New teachers at the school are assigned a talented, settled practitioner to help them adapt to their new role, in your case mentoring will be provided to you by a Headteacher. Professional development is seen as essential to the success of the school, you will be provided with training and CPD on regular basis. If you're an NQT you can rest assured you will be provided with all the support you need in order to successfully complete the year and be awarded QTS.
