ENABLE Scotland is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities.

We are looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to support a young man in the Perth area.

This young man is very active and independent. He is about to embark on a new chapter in his life, living in his own tenancy and requires support with living independently and to fully participate in his community.

Flexibility in approach to work is imperative. You should have excellent communication skills, a young at heart approach, and a good sense of humour. You should also be motivated, creative, enthusiastic, sporty and have a positive and flexible outlook to your work.

In addition you should be able to work on your own initiative and be flexible as evening and weekend work will be required. This young man requires support to maintain his personal hygiene and Personal Assistants are required to provide personal care support.

Experience is preferred but not essential, if you have the right attitude we can provide the appropriate training. Applicants must share our values and be able to work well in a team and on their own. It is also essential that applicants have a positive outlook and are keen to promote new ideas for those we support.

We require a female PA to work with a young female adult with learning disabilities and Downs Syndrome in the Campbeltown area.

You should be reliable, creative and enthusiastic as well as being able to adapt to ever changing work environments. Excellent communication and listening skills are essential and flexibility is required as the hours of work vary and include evenings, weekends and possible sleepovers

Training will be provided, along with regular team meetings and supervisions. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team working towards the people we support living a fulfilling and rich life.
