Person Specification
You should be a charismatic Mathematics Teacher who has experience of teaching in a leading school with excellent results and a 'Good' or better record from observations in the classroom. The school wants to see teachers who have an energetic zeal for teaching and excellent subject knowledge. You should be able to add value to the school’s curriculum and practice through innovation and new ideas. You must have the skills to lead your class to new academic heights and push your students to exceed exam expectations.
About the Role
As a Maths Teacher at this school you will be becoming an important part of the established Maths Department where all pupils are performing above expected levels of progress. Day-to-day, you will be developing your classroom practice approaches with the guidance of the schools fully accessible CPD programme. You will keep academic achievement as a top priority in class and your teaching will include KS3 and KS4 / GCSE classes. In this post you will be moving ahead in your career by fulfilling the role of a Head of Year as part of and in additional to your general duties as Maths Teacher.
