Junior Level Creative & Digital Media Apprenticeship

Dreamtek are looking to expand our ever growing Apprenticeship team in Coventry, West Midlands.

The Academy is dedicated to training and mentoring the next generation of digital, media and business professionals. We are looking for like-minded individuals who are motivated by success and share our passion for all things creative and digital. Above all else we want you be able to grow with us and will offer continual support and guidance throughout all stages of the apprenticeship.

Our apprentices go through bespoke on the job training where we provide experience in, and exposure to, all aspects of our business.

You will gain insight and training into the following areas:

• Digital content creation

• Producing

• Lighting

• Sound

• Editing

• Post-production

• Pus live event delivery online or at physical events

What will I be doing?

• Equipment Maintenance
• Kit Preparations for ongoing shooting
• Camera Prepping for Shoot, leading to operating
• Production Support
• Assisting the Editing Projects
• Opportunity to engage with Live Streaming Events
• Social Media Coordination and Blogging Opportunities
• Calendar and Diary handling
• Liaising with clients
• Running duties

As well as these traditional areas, this apprenticeship covers the growing role of digital technologies in changing the way that media content is consumed, shared and enjoyed by audiences.

You Will:

Have access to professional media equipment
Learn from industry professionals

Learn more about motion/photography/editing techniques/app creation
Gain knowledge and skills in industry awareness and career development

Key Skills:

• We are looking for someone who is personable, with excellent communication skills and who is exceptional at logistical planning.
• Age group 16-19
• Must have a keen interest in digital media - Video, Graphic Animation, Photography and Social Media.
• Ability to manage the role between desk/admin, digital media and general duties
• Excellent time management
• Punctual
• Must show an eagerness to learn new camera skills and techniques.
• You must be ambitious, creative, reliable and keen to succeed!
• Have an interest in editing
• Be willing to travel in the UK
• A full UK Driving license is desirable, but not compulsory

Annual Salary is from GBP8,700
