Commercial Finance Analyst

This Commercial Finance Analyst role is pivotal in ensuring the wider business understands the commercial performance of this retail sales/product area within this large telecoms organisation. The role will ultimately be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in leading and driving the commercial performance of these products within the organisation.

The Commercial Finance Analyst will leverage their commercial expertise, and their understanding of a reporting financial environment to provide timely and consistent information to the business in regards to performance. To make recommendations to drive performance by understanding key trends and opportunities. Supporting the forecasting team to ensure actual trends are reflected within quarterly processes.

Working with a wider team and cross functional working with many teams outside of this division including Marketing, Sales, Revenue and Business Intelligence.

The candidate will be part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with some experience of working as a financial analyst. Experience of working to support the financials of a fast paced commercial or operational department. Must have strong Excel proficiency. A degree level education and ideally experience within the telecoms industry.
