A talented System Centre Analyst is required to join a nationally celebrated Engineering organisation, working within a dynamic and team/orientated environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established organisation, working on the design, deployment and management of Microsoft System Centre suite of products in a Security Cleared environment.

Responsibilities:

As a System Centre Analyst you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and enhancing the functionality of the Microsoft System Centre suite of products and associated infrastructure in use across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing third party relationships to achieve desired functionality across adopted System Centre products

* Enhancing operational capability of adopted System Centre products

* Supporting operations staff with high level administration tasks and high level fault management across the infrastructure as required and dictated by best practice

* Working in the technical architecture team in future design process

* Production of operational and technical documentation to agreed standards

Qualifications and Experience:

* In depth knowledge of design, deployment and management of System Centre products/namely Operations Manager (SCOM) and Configuration Manager (SCCM)

* Experience of SCCM OS deployment task sequences, application deployment and management, and patch management of client and server OS

* Experience of SCOM configuration and management for monitoring including implementation and support of SCOM management packs

* Posession of, or eligible for, Security Clearance or potentially DV Clearance and willing to undergo any other clearance required as contracts demand ie Met Policy Security clearance, CRB etc.

Technical and Specialist Knowledge:

* Excellent knowledge of System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM) and Configuration Manager (SCCM) and PowerShell Scripting

* Excellent knowledge of Windows 7, Server 2008 and 2012 R2 operating systems.

* Excellent knowledge of automation Scripting and associated techniques

* Solid understanding and experience of Active Directory/Group Policy/DNS/DHCP etc

Key Behavioural Competencies:

* A confident and self/motivated team player, able to work collaboratively with others

* Comfortable working across a multi disciplined IT environment, and diverse business

* Ability to travel to other sites as requested
